What the First Appointment Is Like

After the consultation, your first extension appointment is typically longer than a standard color or cut service — plan for 3–5 hours depending on the method and the amount of hair being installed. This is normal and expected.

Your stylist will prep your natural hair, install the extensions row by row, then cut and blend everything together so it looks like your own hair. Before you leave, you'll get a full care and maintenance tutorial.

Maintenance: What You're Committing To

Extensions require consistency. Here's the real picture:

• Move-up or refresh appointments every 6–8 weeks
• Sulfate-free shampoo to protect the wefts and your natural hair
• Avoiding heat directly on the attachment points
• Brushing daily with a loop or extension-safe brush to prevent matting
• No going to sleep with wet hair
